WineGames Wine Experience

WineGames is a unique wine experience that will educate as well as provide a most enjoyable event.

There is much to know about wine and you will learn some of the tricks for selecting the origin of a wine as well as understand which parts of your mouth detect acidity, tannin and dryness.

The event is ideal after a meeting to break the ice before dinner or as a staff function with overnight stay. We can tailor the event to your requirements and to meet your objectives.

We also run a malt whisky tasting, real beer challenge and a champagne challenge. We do not recommend all four on the same day!

Our unique challenges are a departure from traditional wine tasting or guessing games, and are not reliant on prior knowledge.

• Private room in hotel
• Welcome by wine expert
• Tables set out in teams
• Expert explains your palate with the help of a few glasses of wine
• Screen show takes you through the tasting skills
• Food pairing - each guest tries different flavoured canapés with various wines and cores the suitability of each one
• Each team submits a team entry
• Blind tasting - guests try different wines and try to guess country of origin, grape and ear with the help of tasting notes
• Prizes given to winning team
• Option to continue over dinner
• Option of wine blending
