133rd Open Golf Championship Hospitality
Royal Troon Golf Course
Thursday 15 - Sunday 18 July 2004
The
Open Championship returns to Royal Troon, where the previous
five Opens played on the Old Course have resulted in an American
lifting the Claret Jug. Dramatic would perhaps be the best
way to describe Royal Troon. When the wind blows strange things
happen on this classic links course, which is full of bumps
and hollows and rated amongst the world's best. The Old Course
at Troon has both the longest hole of any Open Championships
course - the 6th at 577 yards and the shortest - the 8th Postage
Stamp, which although it measures a mere 126 yards, is perhaps
the world's most celebrated and deadliest short hole.
CEC are pleased to be able to offer you the very best hospitality
in our official Royal & Ancient Hospitality marquees,
which are adjacent to the 15th and 16th Fairways. Bookings
of 2 upwards can be made; private company tables are available
for bookings of 8-12 guests. Private marquees are available
for bookings of 50 guests.
