The Aegon Championships to be held from 7th- 13th June 2011 at The Queens Club in London are widely recognized as one of the top 10 tennis events in the world. 2009 saw Andy Murray claim his first grass court title at Queens following his defeat of James Blake in a closely fought and highly charged final.
The Boodles Challenge, to be held at Stoke Park from 15th – 19th June 2011, offers the top players a further opportunity to complete their preparations for Wimbledon. Previous years have seen the likes of Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic, Andy Roddick and David Nalbandian fine tune their skills, under the watchful eye of former Wimbledon referee Alan Mills.
Also running from 15th – 19th June 2010, the BNP Paribas Fortis Tennis Classic has become established in the corporate hospitality tennis calendar as a unique venue in which to entertain guests. Set in the stunning grounds of the Hurlingham Club in west London, the three matches on Centre Court each day offer a unique opportunity to watch former Champions of the game playing alongside stars of today in a mixture of singles and doubles matches.
The culmination of these preparations is the Wimbledon Tennis Championships which run from Monday 21st June to Sunday 4th July 2011 at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. Once again, the home crowd will be firmly behind Andy Murray in his attempt to win the ultimate prize for most professional players, the title of Wimbledon Champion.
The year’s events conclude in some style at the Royal Albert Hall with the finale to the ATP Champions Tour - the Aegon Masters. Running from 30th November – 5th December, this is the UK’s most popular indoor tournament, attracting crowds of more than 35,000 over the course of the event. Combining the excitement of both singles and doubles, this tournament offers a perfect way to entertain clients at Christmas and features not only a high quality singles field, but the exhilarating entertainment provided by the likes of Mansour Bahrami and his fellow doubles competitors.
