Royal Ascot 2012 Trackside Restaurant Horseracing
Hospitality
Tuesday 19th - Saturday 23rd June 2012
From the moment you arrive at Royal Ascot, you can only be impressed with the beautiful new Grandstand and well designed facilities including the Parade Ring where you can study the finely tuned racehorses at close quarters. This together with what makes Ascot really special - the fashions. Just wandering around you will see ladies dressed in some fantastic outfits and many of the men in top hat and tails. This tradition defines this event against all others.
The presence of the Queen and the Royal Procession is the final piece in Royal Ascot’s jigsaw. Nearly all of the race goers take the trouble to watch the Royal Procession arrive into the Parade Ring and, just to finish the day in style, there is singing around the Bandstand of traditional English songs like Land of Hope and Glory. The atmosphere can be electric, with 2 – 3,000 people joining in, making it a bit like the Last Night of the Proms.
The Trackside Restaurant
The Trackside Restaurant is a great location as it is just past the Winning Post with views up the Ascot straight. It is within the Royal Enclosure, very near to the Royal Enclosure Lawns and so it is compulsory for guests to adhere to the Royal Enclosure Dress Code. Here you will enjoy a fantastic informal dining experience with a modern and eclectic blend of dishes and techniques from around the world. This brand new dining experience will be created by our award winning Chef, Steve Golding. If you would like to be part of the Royal Enclosure, then the Trackside is the right place for you.
