Incorporate a unique journey on a steam train to the racecourse from Toddington with excellent hospitality in one of our executive viewing boxes for the second biggest annual meeting at Cheltenham race course.
 Step back in time and relish traditional style travel pulled by a magnificent steam locomotive. Start your day by avoiding all the race traffic and drive to Toddington train station where plenty of hard surface parking is available. Toddington train station adds to the nostalgia of this unique travel experience. Once relaxed on board you can enjoy the 35 minute journey through beautiful countryside of the Cotswolds, Malverns and Vale of Evesham and arrive in style at the Cheltenham Station only yards away from the entrance to Cheltenham racecourse.
 The Paddy Power Festival runs on two days of the meeting and The November meeting offers first class National Hunt racing. On Friday spectators can enjoy races including the Steel Plate Section Novices Chase which is a class 2 race novice chase won by the promising chasing recruit Imperial Commander in 2007. The Paddy Power Gold Cup Chase is run on Saturday 16th November, the highlight race of this popular meeting, being a Grade 3 class 1 race over 2 ½ miles over the Cheltenham fences, with the prize money in excess £100,000. In 2007 it seemed as though Il Duce was set to win but with L’Antartique making late headway and with his stamina telling up the Cheltenham hill to collect the prize close home ensuring a cracking finish.
