Cheltenham National Hunt Festival 2010 Official VIP Horse Racing Hospitality
Tuesday 16th – Friday 19th March 2010
The Cheltenham Festival is probably the greatest race meeting of the year in the UK. It attracts genuine enthusiasts as well as corporate clients to see the greatest steeplechase racing of the calendar. One of the reasons for its great success is that it is for the champions at all National Hunt distances of between 2m and 3¼m, culminating in the Gold Cup on Friday. However, all days feature Championship races – Tuesday has the Champion Hurdle, the Wednesday sees the Queen Mothers Champion Chase, the Thursday has the Stayers Hurdle and the Ryanair Chase. Cheltenham has an amazing atmosphere. Visitors show their appreciation for every winner, whether they have backed it or not – it simply is they admire the bravery and stamina of these wonderful horses.
FESTIVAL UPDATE FEBRUARY 2010
Looking for accommodation?
We have a lovely 2-bed cottage available for the whole week of the Cheltenham Festival. It’s ideally located for the racecourse, with access via Cleeve Hill and Prestbury - perfect for Cheltenham Festival hospitality clients. £750.00 for the week.
Looking for hospitality?
We have full hospitality packages for marquees and boxes and availability on our steam train transfer on all days. If you already have tickets, you could consider using the steam train. This is the best way to get to the Festival. It arrives at the back of the Grandstand and you miss all the traffic and chaos in the car parks after racing.
The Gold Cup
Kauto Star and Denman are still vying for favourite for the Gold Cup, but Pricewise has tipped Imperial Commander who has shortened from 20/1 to 14/1 for the showpiece race. |
One of the attractions of Cheltenham is that, as with all Championship events, the same horses return year after year to defend their crowns. This is one of the things that makes this event unique, as it does not happen in flat racing as they often go to stud after achieving their initial goal. Racegoers are priveleged to see their favourites return year after year and to appreciate a real champion at its distance.
Kauto Star, as an example, has won two Gold Cups and will defend his crown again in 2010.
Corporate Entertainment is proud to offer for 2010 the very best hospitality facilities at the Cheltenham Festival including the Superior box hospitality with views of the last fence, Cheltenham Executive boxes and marquees which are great value for money and offer the very best in horseracing hospitality at Cheltenham Racecourse. If you have a preference for a particular day of the Festival, please click on one of the following to see all of the options for that day:
Corporate Entertainment Company is a major hospitality provider on all days of the Cheltenham Festival. We also own the steam train transfer which has many benefits, particularly for corporate clients. The steam train is not just a wonderful experience, but departs from a traffic-free part of Gloucestershire and delivers its passengers directly behind the main Grandstand at the racecourse. This provides a stress-free return journey which can be likened to going to the British Grand Prix by helicopter. You sit in comfort at your own table with your racing paper and all your guests arrive together. You will all arrive completely relaxed, enabling you to completely enjoy the day.
We do have a wide range of hospitality facilities to suit all budgets and preferences. We have an ideally placed marquee with great hospitality and John Francombe providing humour and a few tips. We have two types of box, both with viewing balconies, the Superior Box being closer to the Winning Post and a more fixed structure and the Executive Box is more of a marquee structure.
Not only will you see some of the best racing in the world, but National Hunt races can take up to 10 minutes to complete, as opposed to one minute of a 5 furlong dash on the flat, and the backdrop to each race of Cleeve Hill provides a stunning canvass that makes people want to return to year after year.
