 This is the busiest day of the week and our steam train transfer is strongly recommended as the traffic and car parks are very busy. As with all days of the Festival, taking the steam train will ensure that you have a traffic and stress-free day.
The Gold Cup will be run at 3.20 and it is important to take your place either on the balcony of your box or in the Grandstand if you are in the marquee hospitality, in plenty of time to fully enjoy this exquisite feature race.
Kauto Star won the race in 2009 for the second time and, providing training goes according to plan, will be hard to beat again in 2010. The feature race is supported by the championship for 4 year old hurdlers, The Triumph Hurdle, and the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle over 3 miles.

We have full hospitality packages for marquees and boxes and availability on our steam train transfer on all days. If you already have tickets, you could consider using the steam train. This is the best way to get to the Festival. It arrives at the back of the Grandstand and you miss all the traffic and chaos in the car parks after racing.

Kauto Star and Denman are still vying for favourite for the Gold Cup, but Pricewise has tipped Imperial Commander who has shortened from 20/1 to 14/1 for the showpiece race. |
